Job Overview Job Summary Hudson View Auto Body is a premier auto body repair shop committed to providing top-quality service to our customers. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Painter to join our dynamic team. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously through sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply primers, paints, coatings, and clear coats using conventional spray guns or airless paint spraying equipment with precision and consistency Use automotive buffing and polishing tools to achieve smooth, glossy finishes that meet quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools such as hand tools, power tools, and spray guns are properly stored and calibrated Follow safety protocols including the use of respiratory protection and proper handling of paints and chemicals to ensure a safe working environment Qualifications Knowledge of Spies Hecker water based paints or any water based paints a plus Proven experience in automotive painting within a dealership or auto body repair environment is highly preferred Proficiency with surface preparation masking, sanding techniques, and automotive buffing processes Skilled in the use of painting and coating spray guns, sanders, buffers, and other power tools
