• Manufacturing We are looking for an industrial spray painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience as an industrial spray painter (wet painter) and will be responsible for applying solvent
• based paints to metal and other surfaces, using spray equipment.

Within this role you will need to move materials and heavy equipment to the spray booth area for painting as needed, as well as ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. This is an important role in our manufacturing process and a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to join a growing team. Manufacturing Industrial Painter Job Responsibilities

• Utilize conventional spray equipment.
• Must be able to read and interpret work orders and reports.
• Perform a good quality paint job in an efficient manner at all times.
• Paint/apply coatings per customer and company specifications.
• Preps parts prior to painting.
• Must be able to understand and follow directions
• Cleans and maintains tools and equipment used in the paint booth and always keeps work area clean and organized (paint booth, spray equipment, hoses, gauges, paint pots)
• Always complies with all company safety and environmental policies.
• Follows all company procedures regarding cleaning and maintaining equipment.
• Moves materials and products as directed making the right preparation for painting.
• Develops, implements, verifies, and calibrates paint process and application equipment to ensure the accuracy and repeatability of the painting process.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Works within and contributes as a team member.
• Communicates with the appropriate supervisor the raw materials purchasing needs if applicable and adjusts as directed.
• Must be able to fit in the assembly team and participate at different tasks as directed.
• Must be willing to learn new tasks as directed.
• Lifting and bending required.
• Good attendance required.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace.
• Must be able to read and use a tape measure in case needed.
• Establishes strong communication and reports with team leads and team members.
• This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing or walking for up to eight (8) hours a day, and the ability to lift heavy equipment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Strong attention to detail, organized, able to multi-task and set priorities.
• Problem Solver, Basic Computing Skills
• Familiar with variety of different types of paint and spraying techniques
