Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly through cleaning, sanding, plastering, drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, and surface priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately execute painting projects according to design requirements. Apply paint using various methods including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting with conventional sprayers or airless paint spraying equipment. Perform construction surface preparation tasks such as sanding, scraping, patching, and sealing to ensure smooth finishes. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for surface preparation and finishing work. Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations by utilizing respiratory protection, proper ladder use, and following safety protocol guidelines at all times. Conduct visual color comparisons using color theory principles to achieve precise color matching and aesthetic consistency across projects. Assist with fixture installation, frame carpentry, masonry work, or handyman tasks as needed during renovation or remodeling projects. Support ongoing maintenance tasks on construction sites by performing touch-ups or repairs as required. Experience Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of residential and commercial painting techniques. Familiarity with industrial painting processes including coating application on large structures or surfaces requiring specialized finishes. Hands-on experience with construction estimating related to painting projects is a plus. Knowledge of safety regulations specific to construction sites including proper use of respiratory protection and fall prevention measures. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or specifications for accurate project execution. Experience working on construction sites with exposure to drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, masonry work, fixture installation or remodeling projects is highly desirable.
