Martin Painting & Coating Co. is looking for an Industrial Refinish Technician to work on projects involving the renewal and refinishing of existing industrial painted surfaces. The position combines surface work, coating application, touch-ups, and detailed finishing. Key Responsibilities Prepare existing painted surfaces for refinishing. Remove loose or deteriorated paint and coatings. Scrape, sand, clean, and prepare assigned areas. Apply paint and coatings using brushes, rollers, and approved equipment. Complete touch-ups and detail work. Protect surrounding surfaces and equipment. Assist with setup of materials and equipment. Maintain tools and work areas. Assist with project cleanup. Follow project requirements and safety procedures. Work safely at elevated locations when required. Qualifications Previous industrial or commercial painting experience preferred. Refinish, repaint, or coating experience is a plus. Familiarity with brush and roller application preferred. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Ability to perform physical work throughout the workday. Comfortable working at heights. Must be clean shaven for respirator compliance. Reliable transportation required. Smartphone required for timesheets and communication. Availability to work at least two weekends per month. Dependable and detail-oriented.
