Primary Duties Surface Preparation Ensure surfaces are ready for coating by stripping previous layers, sanding, masking areas, and applying necessary primer. Paint Application Utilize spray apparatus to distribute coatings evenly, helping to ensure a high-quality finish for the final product. Paint Mixing Accurately blend and prepare coating materials based on technical requirements to meet specific color, texture, and longevity targets. Equipment Operation & Maintenance Operate and manage spray painting machinery and associated hardware safely. Conduct regular cleaning and upkeep to keep all tools in optimal working order for the team. Quality Assurance Examine finished pieces to verify they meet strict quality benchmarks and client requirements. Perform necessary corrections or detail work to improve overall output quality. Safety & Compliance Adhere strictly to all organizational safety protocols and federal OSHA regulations. Utilize and care for all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly. Contribute to a tidy and hazard-free workspace for all personnel. Requirements Prior experience in industrial painting within a production or manufacturing setting is mandatory. Demonstrated proficiency in handling spray equipment, coating tools, and application techniques. Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols regarding painting and the handling of chemical materials. Strong focus on precision to help maintain high standards of craftsmanship across all projects. Physical capability to remain standing for long shifts, lift heavy items, and handle rigorous tasks in a high-speed setting.
