Auto body repair technician 1. job description Prepare all surfaces for paint jobs to ensure a smooth finish. Match colors and mix paints to achieve accurate reproduction to blend with the vehicle's existing finish. Apply paint finishes using various preparation and application techniques, including using sprays, solvents. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail to ensure the highest quality finish on every vehicles. Follow a standard operating procedure for work Perform duties in a clean and orderly fashion, with respect for the tools and equipment provided Follow all safety guidelines Assist in training of new technicians Other duties as assigned by supervisor 2. skill requirements The ability to think critically by giving first hand recommendations of repair methods for a damaged car.
