Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Industrial Painter Blaster to join our team in Ontario, OH. This full-time role focuses on surface preparation and ing protective coatings (paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer) to interiorexterior surfaces, trimmings, fixtures, and metalponents.

You will work closely with a supportive team in an industrial environment, starting primarily in the blast booth and expanding into full paint application as your training progresses. No prior experience is required—we will train the right candidate who brings a strong work ethic, physical resilience, and amitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

Surface Preparation & Blasting:

Work extensively in the blast booth using abrasive blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, old paint, and debris from metal parts and structures.

Coating Application:

protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to buildings, structures, trimmings, and equipment based on job specifications.

Manual Surface Prep:

Smooth surfaces using sandpaper, wire brushes, steel wool, scrapers, or chemical paint removers prior to coating.

Work Order Adnce:

Read work orders and follow detailed instructions from supervisors or site leads to ensure precise quality standards.

Safety & PPE Compliance:

Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a full-body enclosed suit with supplied air while operating inside the blast booth.

Training & Workflow Progression

You will begin full-time in the blast booth to master surface prep techniques and high-pressure media handling.

As training advances, you will transition into painting operations, with the long-term goal of balancing your duties so that no more than 50% of your time is spent in the blast booth.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.

Physically demanding work requiring continuous manual control of high-pressure blasting hoses with heavy air and media flow.

Mandatory use of a full-body enclosed suit with supplied fresh air in the blast booth.

Regular full-time hours (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, M-F).

Pay Details:

$21.39 per hour
