Job Summary Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Powder Coater, where you'll play a vital role in applying high-quality powder coating finishes to a variety of metal products. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with advanced coating equipment, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and contribute to the creation of durable, visually appealing finished goods. Duties Operate powder coating equipment, including automated systems, to apply coatings accurately and efficiently on metal components. Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, or surface preparation techniques aligned with construction painting standards. Interpret production documents and specifications to ensure correct coating procedures and color matching through visual color comparison. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring proper materials handling and storage practices. Maintain personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and safety gear, adhering strictly to safety protocols during all operations. Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet industry standards in industrial painting and coating finish. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools such as power tools, airless paint sprayers, and machining equipment to ensure optimal operation.
