This role involves preparing, masking, and coating structural components using spray systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in working with precision equipment and regulated processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, mask, and apply primers and topcoats to aircraft components per specifications Mix coatings and operate spray equipment, including HVLP systems Inspect surfaces before and after coating to ensure quality and compliance Set and monitor bake/cure oven temperatures and record process data Perform rework, touch-ups, and surface preparation using abrasives and solvents Maintain equipment, complete daily logs, and follow safety and environmental procedures Support workflow efficiency and assist team members as needed

Qualifications:

3+ years of painting experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail, color accuracy, and precision handling Familiarity with safety regulations and continuous improvement practices High school diploma or GED required This position requires adherence to strict safety standards, including PPE usage and respirator clearance, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and extended standing.
