Northfield Mancan is assisting a company in Streetsboro who is filling positions for 1st shift Spray Booth Operator. The hours are 4am-4pm Monday through Friday and the pay rate will be $18.00 an hour. You must have a clean criminal background check and able to pass a drug test. This position requires someone to be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift 50 lbs and routinely package product for shipment for customers. This would include taking finished products off the production line and stacking products for shipment. This position would require lifting and handling of materials in excess of fifty pounds.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating the spray booth/coating equipment used to paint the outside of steel pails.
• Loading, positioning, and moving steel containers through the coating/painting process.
• Operating and monitoring spray guns, pumps, paint/coating equipment, and booth controls.
• Making sure the coating is applied evenly and meets the required color, coverage, and finish specifications.
• Checking finished containers for defects such as missed areas, runs, uneven coating, or other paint problems.
• Mixing or preparing paint/coating materials according to established procedures, if required.
• Monitoring paint levels and replenishing materials.
• Cleaning spray equipment, guns, hoses, and the booth as required.
• Changing colors/materials and performing routine cleanup between production runs.
