Industrial Coating Technician - 2nd
Shift Location:
Bartlesville, OK Employment Type:
12-month contract
Pay:
$23.00/hour base + $2.00/hour shift differential — $25.00/hour total
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM; weekends may be required
Expected Hours:
50 hours per week

In person About the Position We are seeking an Industrial Coating Technician to support an oil and gas equipment manufacturing team. You will prepare surfaces, operate equipment used to apply Monel protective coatings, and inspect finished products to help ensure high-quality, corrosion-resistant finishes. If you have a manufacturing background and an interest in industrial coating processes, we encourage you to apply. Previous painting or coating experience is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities Prepare equipment surfaces for coating according to work instructions and production specifications. Operate coating equipment to apply Monel protective finishes. Inspect coated surfaces for defects and compliance with quality requirements. Maintain coating equipment and perform assigned maintenance activities under the direct supervision of a Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician. Work with production teams to troubleshoot issues and maintain efficient workflow. Accurately record maintenance activities and related data in Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) systems. Follow company and division TLM standards, safety procedures, and quality requirements. Complete required training and develop skills through the TLM Competency Management System. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized work area and wear required personal protective equipment. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Manufacturing background. Ability to follow work instructions and safety and quality procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively. Availability for the listed second-shift schedule and weekends when required. Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of related experience. Industrial painting, coating, or surface preparation experience. Experience operating or maintaining manufacturing equipment. Training and Development Company process training and competency development are provided through the TLM Competency Management System.
