Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Painter / Crew Lead with spray and cabinet experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead painting crews on residential and commercial painting projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety protocols. Your expertise in various painting techniques, surface preparation, and project management will drive successful project completion and client satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to showcase leadership skills and technical proficiency in a fast-paced environment. Duties Lead and coordinate painting crews on residential and commercial projects, ensuring timely and quality execution Perform surface preparation including sanding, caulking, priming, and repair work to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless spray), and other hand tools with precision and efficiency Execute various painting techniques such as conventional spraying, brush painting, roller application, and specialty coatings for structural surfaces Maintain safety standards by utilizing respiratory protection equipment, adhering to safety regulations, and following proper handling of hazardous materials Conduct quality inspections to ensure color consistency through visual color comparison and proper coating application Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite Clean and properly maintain spray equipment and other tools Communicate project progress and any concerns with the owner/production team Experience Proven experience in painting with a strong background in spray techniques and cabinet finishing Hands-on experience with power tools such as hand tools, paint sprayers (including airless systems), sanders, and other relevant equipment Able to work independently while also leading a team Professional and respectful when working in customers' homes Good communication skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Knowledge of estimating processes related to painting projects is a plus Dependable and punctual Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier craftsmanship while leading teams toward success!
