Responsibilities:
  • Painting 3-coat systems for heavy steel structures
Qualifications:
  • 1-Year of commercial experience using airless pump process
  • or willing to learn
  • Skillful with all applicable equipment: o Paint Pump o Cranes o Grinders o Chippers o Sanders
  • Proven understanding of the following (or willing to learn):
COATINGS
o Zinc o Epoxy o Eurothane
APPLICATIONS
o Spraying o Rolling
  • Successfully apply coatings to wet mils necessary to achieve required dry mils per specifications
  • Maintain piece marker traceability
  • Evaluate surface preparation for accuracy and compliance with SSPC Codes
  • Interpret structural drawings noting no-paint zones and confirming spot marks
  • Follow OSHA and company guidelines
