In this role, you will be responsible for applying electrochemical coatings to various metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet strict industry standards. Your expertise will help us deliver durable, corrosion-resistant products while adhering to safety protocols and production deadlines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes in a dynamic environment. Duties Prepare metal parts and surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and surface preparation techniques, including construction painting surface preparation. Operate electroplating equipment and machinery safely, following all safety protocol adherence and PPE use guidelines. Interpret production documents and specifications accurately to ensure coating quality standards are met Handle materials with care using forklifts, cranes, and warehouse experience to transport parts efficiently within the facility. Conduct quality inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments and visual color comparison to verify finish consistency. Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment, adhering to lean manufacturing principles for efficiency. Follow safety procedures including respirator use and respiratory protection during coating processes involving industrial painting or powder coating. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools such as power tools, hand tools, machining equipment, and spray guns to ensure optimal operation. Document work progress accurately by interpreting manufacturing instructions and completing production logs. Requirements Proven experience in electroplating or industrial painting with a strong understanding of coating processes. Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes; certification is a plus. Ability to interpret technical drawings, production documents, and specifications clearly. Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE adherence, respirator use, and respiratory protection measures. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating thicknesses and surface preparations. Experience with construction painting surface preparation, powder coating, auto painting, or industrial painting is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with excellent visual color comparison skills for quality assurance. Ability to work efficiently using power tools, hand tools, machining equipment, and spray guns in a fast-paced environment. Join our team where your skills will make a real impact!
