This position manages the application of paint and stain to products while focusing on customer satisfaction and ensuring production demands are met.
Responsibilities include:
Sprays all parts needed for manufacturing and to be able to mix custom stains. Keeps spray guns clean throughout the day to produce an even coat of paint on the product. Completes touch up work as needed. Informs mill of parts needed for production Sets up and operates hot stamp machine Performs required preventive maintenance on equipment Ensures a final quality inspection is done on the product prior to forwarding to the next dept Troubleshooting skills along with strong mechanical skill to overcome process variables Monitor stock levels and place order request to warehouse Keep lot control of parts inventor Normal hours are Monday through Thursday 5:30am to 4pm
Education:
Must have High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
2+ years experience as a sprayer preferred. 2+ years experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred. Medical product development or other regulated assembly industry experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate mechanical ability (Read Drawings, Assemble Electrical & Mechanical Components, and Validate Quality)
  • Understanding of traditional manufacturing processes with machining and fabricating experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and work with multiple departments.
  • Proficient computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient verbal, written communication, and presentation skills required.
  • Proficient organizational and time management skills required.
