Equipment & Assembly Facility -Pittsburgh, PA Pay:
$24.38/hr. starting + structured wage progressionBonus:
$500 New-Hire Retention Bonus Calgon Carbon | A Kuraray Company Why This Role Stands Out This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on in a skilled industrial environment focused on quality, safety, and precision. Our Blasters will have the opportunity to build their skills across blasting, coating applications, inspections, and equipment operations while meeting industry standards What You'll Be Doing Perform abrasive blasting on small tanks and piping systems to meet SSPC surface cleanliness and profile requirements Prepare equipment and surfaces for painting and coating through cleaning, solvent wiping, taping, and masking Mix and apply paints and linings in accordance with manufacturer specifications and application requirements Inspect surface preparation and coating applications for quality, compliance and defects, making repairs as needed Document inspection results, monitor ambient conditions, and verify coating thickness and surface profiles using required gauges and tools Operate forklifts and assist with blasting, painting, and other production-related tasks as required Maintain compliance with company safety procedures, policies, and quality standards What We're Looking For 1+ years of experience general labor Less than High school education Sand Blasting (preferred) Schedule Rotating shift operation (details reviewed during the screening process) Overtime opportunities as business needs require Pay, Bonus & Benefits $24.38/hr. starting pay with structured wage progressionShift Differential:
