Painter / Blaster 📍 Position Summary Join a small, hands-on Paint/Blast team responsible for preparing, blasting, painting, and powder coating metal components used in automated warehousing equipment. Training is provided, making this a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals looking to grow their skills.

$30/hr 🕒 Schedule 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM Two paid 15-minute breaks One unpaid 30-minute meal break Training Schedule (1-2 Weeks) Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM 🔧 What You'll Do Load and unload metal parts using manual methods and a sit-down forklift Operate blasting equipment using 50-grit blast media Prepare, hang, and rack parts for paint and powder coat processes Paint and powder coat products to quality standards Move materials throughout the shop using a forklift Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy Support multiple phases of the paint and blast process as needed ✅ Requirements Experience operating a sit-down forklift Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to lift and move materials of varying sizes and weights Willingness to learn and cross-train in multiple areas Ability to work safely while wearing protective equipment ⭐ Preferred Experience Sandblasting Industrial painting Powder coating Manufacturing or production environments No direct paint or blast experience? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
