Painter Helper $20-$23/hr Job Description Join our team as a Painter Helper, where you will play a crucial role in the paint line process. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle physical tasks to ensure the highest quality of painted products. Responsibilities Load parts onto the conveyor belt in accordance with paint line requirements. Arrange parts on carts following specific pallet patterns to ensure proper fit and stability. Perform quality inspections and identify flawed parts for rework or strip-painting. Complete and manage associated paperwork, including reorders and inspection documentation. Operate hoists and other material handling equipment safely. Maintain a clean and organized paint area. Memorize product line assembly patterns and part placements. Strap larger parts securely to prevent movement or damage during transport. Unload painted parts from the conveyor line and arrange them on carts. Inspect parts for paint quality and identify any flawed items for rework or strip-painting. Assemble parts by product line, following memorized pallet patterns and placement techniques. Strap larger parts securely to ensure safe transport and prevent damage. Essential Skills Experience as a laborer in a paint line or similar environment. Ability to load and unload parts efficiently. Competency in operating material handling equipment safely. Attention to detail for quality inspections. Ability to memorize assembly patterns and part placements. Additional Skills & Qualifications 6 months of previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
