Duties Prepare parking lot surfaces by cleaning, masking, and ensuring proper surface conditions for painting Use hand tools, power tools, and paint sprayers to accurately apply striping lines, arrows, crosswalks, and other markings according to technical drawings or layout plans Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocols during all phases of work Interpret blueprints or technical drawings to ensure markings are correctly placed and meet specifications Maintain equipment such as line stripers, spray guns, ladders, and other tools in optimal condition for consistent performance Conduct visual color comparisons to ensure markings meet color standards and visibility requirements Assist with surface preparation tasks like patching cracks or applying coatings for long-lasting results Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating, surface preparation, and coating application techniques Experience with residential and commercial painting including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (conventional and airless), and industrial painting methods Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment safely on construction sites Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and layout plans accurately for precise striping work Familiarity with construction site experience including drywall installation, plastering, caulking, framing carpentry, masonry, renovation projects, and remodeling processes Basic math skills for measurements and layout calculations Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting surfaces and respiratory protection standards Experience with fixture installation or restoration projects is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail with an eye for visual color matching and quality standards Join us in transforming parking areas into safe, organized spaces that serve communities effectively!
