Conway, SC We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Powder Coating Technician to join our small manufacturing team. This position is responsible for preparing, coating, curing, and inspecting metal parts to ensure they meet our quality standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works safely and efficiently, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Requirements for

Powder Coating Technician:

Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred , but willing to train the right candidate. Manufacturing or production experience is a PLUS! Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a small team. Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical work. Ability to lift and move parts and materials as required. Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment, chemicals, heat, and airborne coating materials. Income and Benefits for for

Powder Coating Technician:

Prepare metal parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, hanging, and staging parts. Operate powder coating equipment, spray guns, ovens, and related production equipment. Apply powder coating evenly and consistently according to job specifications. Monitor coating thickness, coverage, color, finish, and overall appearance. Load and unload parts from the curing oven and production line. Perform visual inspections and identify defects or areas requiring rework. Maintain clean and organized work areas and coating equipment. Follow established safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with general manufacturing and production duties as needed. Complete work efficiently while maintaining consistent quality and meeting production schedules. Properly handle and store powder coating materials and supplies.
