Full Job Description Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Finisher/Sprayer to join our cabinet manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience or a willingness to learn the process of applying a variety of finishes to custom cabinetry and millwork using spray equipment and hand-finishing techniques. This role is critical in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, durability, and appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cabinet components for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and masking as needed. Apply primer, paint, stain, and clear finishes using HVLP spray systems and other finishing tools. Mix stains, paints, and other finishes to match specified colors and consistencies. Inspect finished products for uniformity, coverage, and color accuracy. Perform touch-ups and minor repairs as needed. Maintain a clean and organized finishing area and equipment. Ensure proper drying and curing times are observed. Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals. Communicate effectively with the production team to prioritize workflow and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Willingness to learn. Proficiency with HVLP spray systems and finishing techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with custom cabinetry or high-end millwork. Knowledge of color matching and blending techniques. Knowledge of wood types and finishing materials (lacquers, urethanes, stains, etc.)
