Bell Piney Flats Aircraft Paint Team Come join the Bell Piney Flats Aircraft Paint department and help ensure best in class service to our customers. In this position, you'll be an integral part of the Paint team, working with others to refinish helicopters and helicopter parts. As an Aircraft Painter, you'll have an opportunity to demonstrate and grow your technical abilities and advance your skills with practical, hands-on experience. What you'll be doing as an Aircraft Painter (Entry level) Second Shift Clean, sand, mask, and buff aircraft and/or aircraft parts for paint with supervision. Mix, apply, and smooth cosmetic fillers with supervision. May assist with painting parts with supervision. Demonstrate consistent ability to perform tasks with limited errors or rework. Properly use PPE as required, to include respirator, and PPE for hazardous materials. Work overtime as determined by business need. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Skills You Bring To this Role High school diploma or GED. Experience with auto body refinishing, aircraft painting, industrial painting/refinishing, and/or other related area is preferred. Higher experience levels will also be considered. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment. Ability to work assigned schedule, and overtime when assigned. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders and work stands. Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools. Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks. Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues. Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
