Job Summary We're seeking an experienced industrial Painter and Coater to apply protective finishes to steel tanks and vessels. You'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet quality standards and withstand harsh environments. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and masking Apply primers and industrial coatings using spray, brush, or roller Inspect finishes for thickness, uniformity, and defects Mix paint and coatings per job specifications Maintain painting equipment and spray booths Follow safety protocols including PPE and confined space procedures Document work performed and materials used Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and quality teams Qualifications 2+ years of industrial painting/coating experience preferred Familiarity with airless spray systems and coating standards (SSPC) Ability to read work orders and coating specs Physically able to lift 50 lbs. and work in confined or elevated spaces High school diploma or equivalent preferred Forklift/manlift certification a plus Safety & Compliance Adhere to OSHA and Petrosmith safety standards
