Job Description
Overview Join our shop as a Paint and Body Technician! You'll be responsible for prepping semi-trucks and other commercial vehicles for paint and the paint application. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in auto body work. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening with accuracy and efficiency Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer using hand tools and power tools Apply paint using spray guns or other painting techniques such as buffing and polishing to achieve a flawless finish Utilize welding skills to repair or replace damaged metal components, ensuring structural integrity Assist with vehicle detailing, cleaning, and minor mechanical tasks to support comprehensive vehicle restoration Skills Proven auto body repair background demonstrating hands-on expertise in vehicle restoration Knowledge of auto painting techniques including surface preparation, priming, painting, and finishing processes Ability to lift heavy parts safely during repairs while adhering to safety protocols
