Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive painting and a strong attention to detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint using various techniques, and ensuring high-quality finishes on vehicles. The Painter will work closely with other team members to maintain a clean and efficient workspace while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary. Apply paint using airless paint spraying techniques and other methods to achieve desired finishes. Perform heavy lifting as required to handle vehicle parts and materials. Buff and polish painted surfaces to ensure a smooth finish. Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on vehicles as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge. Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored after use. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive painting or related field is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work. Mechanical knowledge is a plus, including familiarity with vehicle maintenance and repairs. Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Experience with buffing and auto glass installation is desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Willingness to learn new techniques and improve skills in painting and vehicle maintenance.
