Join our dynamic auto body shop team as a Paint Body Worker, where your skills will transform damaged vehicles into pristine works of art! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing vehicle surfaces with precision and care. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their original beauty, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment that values quality and attention to detail.
MUST HAVE EXPIERENCE
Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paint using airless spray guns, power tools, and hand tools. Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, and welding to restore structural integrity. Buff, polish, and detail painted surfaces to achieve a smooth, glossy finish that meets quality standards. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs or light diagnostics when necessary. Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to move vehicles or parts within the shop. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly handling tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly. Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and quality guidelines. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems for accurate assessment of damage and repairs. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, buffing machines, and airless paint spraying equipment. Experience in auto restoration projects or heavy lifting tasks involving vehicle parts. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and auto body repair standards. Physical stamina for prolonged standing, bending, lifting heavy parts safely, and working in a fast-paced environment.
