Job Description
Bill Utter Ford is looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our growing dealership team. We are looking for team-oriented individuals focused on maintaining a high level of performance. Bill Utter Ford's Automotive Body Technicians are responsible for auto body performance, efficiency, and accuracy, as well as collaborating with other team members. This entails having great communication with Estimators and Shop Forman and performing all needed auto body repairs. Come tour our facility and experience the difference that is at Bill Utter Ford. General Responsibilities:
Refinish Technicians are responsible for performing the automotive body work needed as outlined on repair orders productively with quality craftsmanship. Have a teamwork philosophy and work well with others. Collaborate and communicate with others in a friendly manner. Have a skill set for paint prep, refinishing and buffing Understand and follow Collision Center operations for all safety guidelines and comply with OSHA guidelines, as well as maintain and wear appropriate safety and protective equipment. Perform and inspect all work as a Quality Control measure of all repair orders. Notify and communicate with management of any difficulties or problems that may arise in a timely manner. Attend and participate with team member during production meetings.Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year Refinish technician experience
- ICAR Certification (preferred) or an interest in becoming certified
- Strong work ethic and dependable
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
