Position Summary The Sprayer Operator is responsible for applying stain, basecoat, and topcoat finishes to cabinet components using hand-spraying techniques. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, consistency, and production efficiency while adhering to all safety, environmental, and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a team environment, and understands the importance of maintaining high-quality finishing standards. Key Responsibilities Apply stain, basecoat, and topcoat finish materials to cabinet parts according to production schedules Ensure all finish applications meet established quality standards Monitor and record operational control parameters on daily production checklists Measure, track, and record material usage accurately Support the Hang Line Lead with daily cleanup and organization of the finishing area Follow all safety, material handling, environmental, and quality procedures Inspect finished products for appearance and quality compliance Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals Perform additional duties as assigned by the Finish Supervisor Qualifications Required Skills and Abilities Ability to read and write in either English or Spanish Basic math skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Understanding of safe work practices in a manufacturing environment Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred 1 to 3 years of experience operating spray equipment and applying industrial finishes Experience in wood products, cabinetry, furniture manufacturing, or related finishing environments Knowledge of stain, paint, and coating application techniques Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and finishing materials Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including: Safety glasses Hearing protection Respirators, as required Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 30 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality standards Why Join Leedo?
