Job Description

Position Purpose:
Aero Dynamix is looking for individuals that take great pride in painting a good product. The technician works to safely prepare, paint and detail aircraft paneling and other parts according to schedules provided by the production manager while using operating procedures and quality standards. Personnel will ensure compliance with assembly-procedures both in-process and during final completion. Following standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as spray guns, hand sanders, ovens, and paint shaker. Properly care for and maintain shop floor area, equipment and tools. Standard safety equipment is provided for. Perform other duties in the paint shop area as required. A level of creativity is a major bonus.
Qualifications:
Individual must have ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Able to use tools and equipment associated with the aircraft painting process and work in small restricted areas, Lift up to 50 pounds Must have abilities to read and interpret drawings and engineering documentation. Flexible working hours is a must, including OT if required.
Experience/Education Required:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent (minimum educational requirement) 5-10 years experience in related paint processes, experience in aircraft industry preferred. Application of polyurethane and/or epoxy paints as Bill of Materials defines. A working knowledge of paint processes and products (lacquers/enamels/epoxies/urethanes/acrylics) is necessary .
