• What you'll be doing as a Painter Aircraft & Maintenance A
• Applies dope, lacquer, paint, and other finishing material to finish or refinish aircraft, equipment, and facilities\.
• Prepares surfaces for painting by removing all foreign substances, removes old or chipped paint\.
• Masks surfaces not to be painted\.
• Applies primers and fillers and rubs intermediate coats to assure smooth and uniforms coating to avoid streaks and blemishes\.
• Must be able to match colors for spot or repair jobs\.
• May prepare and mix paints to desired colors and consistencies\.
• Polishes final coat with wax or polishing compound\.
• Does rework as required\.
• Performs lettering with stencils\.

• Paints, primers, lacquers, enamels, varnishes, and thinners\.
• Spray guns, pressure pots, air hoses, rollers and brushes\.
• Templates, trammel points, rules and measuring tapes, and stencil cutting machines, etc\.
• Qualifications

• Three \(3\) years' experience as an Aircraft Painter\.
