What are your contributions to the team? Must be able to perform miscellaneous paint operations proceeding, during and following the spraying of assemblies or airplanes. Mask, clean, surface treat, sand, prepare, paint interior and exterior of details, assemblies, and airplanes for primary or finish paint operations. Steam clean and rinse various configurations as required. Apply protective or other specialty coatings as needed. Fill and fair, sand to bring surfaces to aerodynamic smoothness. Follow instructions/drawings to apply identification markings, insignia decals, or stencils. Perform miscellaneous tasks and deliver paint supplies as required. Operate a forklift when necessary. Correct inspection discrepancies of the level of work performed. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. How to thrive in this role? G.E.D. or Equivalent AND Have a minimum of 2 years' experience as an aircraft painter, or experience in a similar industry that demonstrates: 1. Excellent manual dexterity 2. Mastery of surface preparation using sanding equipment, hazardous materials, paint mixing 3. Mastery of the use of air brush equipment, spray painting equipment AND Successfully pass an entrance assessment demonstrating basic aircraft painting skills (applicable to all the above prerequisites) Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!
