JOB DESCRIPTION

The Perry Company is looking for a dependable Powder Coater to join our production team. This position is responsible for preparing, washing, hanging, and powder coating metal parts used throughout our product lines. We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail who can consistently produce a quality finished product. Previous powder coating or professional spray painting experience is preferred. HOURS Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM , or hours directed by management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prepare, wash, rinse, and hang metal parts for coating Apply powder coating evenly and according to production requirements Follow directions to ensure correct colors and finishes are used Inspect surfaces and finished parts for defects and quality Operate powder coating equipment safely Maintain equipment and a clean, organized work area Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Cross-train and assist in other production areas as needed

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Powder coating experience preferred Professional spray painting experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a production team Dependable attendance Ability to wear a respirator and successfully complete required testing

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position works in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment . Employees must be able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive hand and arm movements, bend, stoop, reach, push and pull, and lift up to 75 lbs as needed.

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
