POWDER COATING SPECIALIST POSITION SUMMARY

Rustica Hardware is seeking to add an experienced and highly-motivated power coating specialist. This position will be responsible for powder coating metal products to good standard; identify, pick and return powder boxes correctly and according to work schedule; and provide cleaning and maintenance to powder coating spray booth and conveyor line according to specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate electrostatic powder coating spray booth according to specification Identify, pick and return powder boxes correctly according to work schedule Demonstrate good ability to spray powder to correct thickness range Possess versatility to spray to a good standard range of surfaces, awkward profiles and overcoat rejected powder coated parts Clean down electrostatic spray guns and booths correctly Provide maintenance of the spray gun parts and booths according to instruction Prepare powder coating line prior to beginning the powder coating process Maintain safe and clean work station while adhering to all safety policies and guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous powder coating experience preferred Knowledge of warehouse and metal shop work environment Knowledge of equipment safety standards Possess organizational, problem solving and time management skills Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to stand, bend, lift in excess of 50 lbs. repeatedly each day Ability to bend, stoop, squat, push, and pull parts and part containers Ability to stand for long periods of time each day Working in hot environment
