Position Type:
Contract Minimum 10 years of professional, commercial and institutional painting experience required. Candidates must be able to pass both a criminal and credit background check. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 10+ years of commercial, industrial, or institutional painting experience. Extensive knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, primers, stains, and finishes. Experience with drywall repair, patching, caulking, and wall preparation. Ability to operate lifts, scaffolding, and other painting equipment safely. Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and industry best practices. Ability to read drawings, specifications, and work orders. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising or mentoring other painters. Experience with specialty coatings, epoxy systems, and decorative finishes. Strong knowledge of color matching and finish application techniques. Ability to estimate materials, labor, and project durations. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced interior and exterior painting. Prepare surfaces to ensure high-quality finishes. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Train and guide junior painters. Coordinate material requirements and project schedules. Maintain compliance with safety regulations.
