• Job Summary
• We are seeking experienced Painter/Blasters for a 4-week contract supporting vessel repair and maintenance projects. Candidates should have experience with abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and industrial painting in shipyard, marine, or industrial environments.
• Responsibilities
• + Perform abrasive blasting and surface preparation. + Mix and apply industrial coatings and paints. + Prepare surfaces through sanding, cleaning, masking, and needle gunning. + Apply coatings to tanks, engine rooms, machinery spaces, and vessel exteriors. + Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. + Follow all OSHA, environmental, and safety requirements.
• Qualifications
• + Experience with abrasive blasting and industrial painting. + Knowledge of surface preparation and coating application. + Ability to work in a shipyard, marine, or industrial environment. + Strong safety awareness and attention to detail. +
• Shipyard or marine experience preferred.
• + •C7 and/or C14 Blasting Certifications preferred.

• Work Environment
• Work is performed in a shipyard environment aboard vessels and marine structures. PPE is required, and all work is performed in accordance with OSHA and safety regulations.

• The pay range for this position is $31.

00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
