Greater Seattle Area, WA Overview We are seeking an experienced Prime Painter to prepare, mix, and apply industrial coatings to metal components while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Prepare and clean parts for painting. Mix paints and coatings according to specifications. Apply primer and paint using HVLP spray equipment. Inspect finished parts for quality, coverage, and thickness. Maintain paint booths, filters, and painting equipment. Complete production paperwork and checklists. Follow OSHA, safety, and PPE requirements. Keep work areas clean and organized. Qualifications Previous industrial, manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace painting experience preferred. Experience with HVLP or similar spray painting equipment. Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
