Shift:
7:00 AM-3:30 PM We are hiring Commercial and Industrial Painters for full-time, contract-to-hire opportunities throughout Green Bay, Oshkosh, and Wausau. Whether your experience is in commercial buildings, industrial environments, residential painting, or a combination, we are looking for dependable painters who take pride in producing quality work. These are primarily first-shift positions working 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday through Friday . Pay ranges from $20-$35/hour depending on experience . Work is completed at various job sites, primarily throughout Wisconsin, so occasional overnight travel may be required. Commercial Painter Commercial Painters apply paint, stain, lacquer, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces on a variety of projects.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, cleaning, or removing existing finishes Patch cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections Mix and match paints and coatings Apply finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Paint interior and exterior building surfaces and fixtures Set up and work from ladders or scaffolding Perform work at heights when required Apply specialty finishes as needed Install wallpaper or vinyl wall coverings when experience allows Follow job-site safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment Industrial Painter Industrial Painters focus on preparing surfaces and applying protective coatings in commercial and industrial environments such as manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and other large structures.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, cleaning, or sandblasting Fill cracks, holes, and damaged areas before coating Mix and prepare paints and protective coatings Apply coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Apply specialty finishes and coatings when required Set up ladders and scaffolding Work safely at heights Wear required protective equipment, including respirators, hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection Follow established job-site and workplace safety procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Ability to read basic instructions and blueprints Ability to perform basic math Comfortable solving problems that come up on the job site Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolding, and at heights Ability to travel to job sites throughout Wisconsin Flexibility for occasional evening, weekend, night, or overnight work when project needs require it Preferred Experience 1-3 years of commercial, industrial, or residential painting experience preferred Experience using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment Surface preparation experience Commercial or industrial painting experience is a plus Wallpaper or vinyl wall-covering experience is a plus for Commercial Painter opportunities No 1-3 years of painting experience? Previous experience is preferred but not required for every opportunity. Candidates with relevant hands-on experience who are interested in building their painting skills are encouraged to apply.
