- 12:30 am The Industrial Painter/Finisher is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing custom metal fabrications and material handling equipment.
This position includes surface preparation, mixing industrial coatings, and applying high-quality protective finishes using airless spray equipment, brushes, and rollers. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and grinding to remove rust, oil, debris, and weld residue prior to painting. Mix paints, primers, hardeners, and other coating materials according to manufacturer specifications and work instructions. Apply industrial primers, varnishes, and two-part protective coatings using airless spray systems, brushes, and rollers. Inspect completed work to ensure coatings meet quality standards and are free of defects. Maintain a clean and organized spray booth and work area while following OSHA safety standards and company procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications 1-2 years of industrial painting/finishing experience preferred. Experience operating airless spray equipment and applying two-part industrial coatings. Ability to read schematics, follow detailed work instructions, and accurately complete assigned tasks. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and safely operating painting equipment. #
