Job Description The Industrial Painter uses a variety of equipment and materials to prepare surfaces and apply paint in accordance with written instructions and drawings. Responsibilities Mix paints to desired colors and consistencies. Prepare surfaces through but not limited to: grinding, sanding, polishing, caulking and sealing. Apply coatings through conventional, airless and plural spray systems. Apply paint with brush and roll. Operate various types of equipment such as blast pots and spray guns. Spray with consistent millage. Safely operates construction tools and equipment as needed. Qualifications 2-3 years of previous related field experience. Knowledge of various blasts. Knowledge of various painting methods and applications. Computer literacy, good organizational skills, able to meet aggressive timelines. Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure.
