Automotive Painter / Body Repair Technician Tanin JDM - Racine, WI Full-Time • Part-Time Tanin JDM is a growing automotive shop specializing in JDM imports, restorations, paintwork, body repair, and custom automotive projects. We are looking for an experienced Automotive Painter and/or Body Repair Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail. This is a hands-on role working on real automotive projects — not production-line collision work. What You'll Be Doing Automotive paint preparation and refinishing Sanding, masking, priming, and body prep Body repair and panel alignment Frame and structural repair (if experienced) Paint correction and finishing work Working on restorations, JDM vehicles, and custom projects Maintaining a clean and organized workspace What We're Looking For Experience in automotive painting and/or body repair Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and stay productive Knowledge of prep work, paint systems, and repair techniques Reliable and motivated work ethic Welding or frame repair experience is a plus Work Environment Casual shop environment Small, hands-on team Flexible opportunities available Variety of unique automotive projects Opportunity for growth as the company expands Benefits Flexible schedule Paid time off Employee discounts Casual work attire Stocked breakroom with snacks & beverages Why Work With Us We work on projects that enthusiasts actually care about — JDM imports, restorations, custom builds, and specialty vehicles.
