Job Description Industrial Painter / Coatings Technician

• Schofield, WI looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team.

We specialize in manufacturing overhead bridge cranes and structural steel fabrication, serving industrial and commercial customers across Central Wisconsin. This role is responsible for preparing parts and applying a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal products. The ideal candidate will have experience with pre-painting processes, coating applications, and handling large components in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform pre-painting activities on metal parts to prepare for painting and fabrication Apply various industrial coatings to fabricated metal products in accordance with Specifications Operate equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and air carts Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company safety and housekeeping standards Follow OSHA and HazMat procedures for safe storage and handling of materials Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 year of industrial painting or coatings experience preferred Must be comfortable operating heavy equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe manner Strong communication and organizational skills Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing environment Willingness to work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
