Part-time Job Summary Ace Hardware in Delray Beach is looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team. We are seeking someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help customers with home improvement and DIY projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with people, and being part of a fun, supportive retail team. Schedule Requirements Applicants must have a flexible schedule and be available for:

Saturdays:

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Sundays:

9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Weekday shifts:

typically 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Occasional last-minute shift coverage when needed Monthly team meeting after store closing at 6pm. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service Assist customers in finding products and solutions for home improvement projects Operating machines for store services such as key cutting. programming auto key fobs, knife sharpening, glass cutting, propane dispenser etc. Answer questions and help customers understand how to complete DIY tasks Support daily store operations, including stocking, organizing, and maintaining a clean store environment Operate store systems and follow daily processes accurately Work as part of a team to create a positive customer experience Qualifications Friendly, upbeat, and helpful attitude Strong work ethic and willingness to stay active and productive throughout each shift Dependable and flexible with scheduling Comfortable learning and using computer systems and store tools Strong communication and customer service skills Interest in home improvement, DIY projects, and helping people solve problems Experience or knowledge in plumbing and/or electrical is a strong plus Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (tasks sometimes require loading mulch, rocks, grills and other heavy items) What We Offer Fun, supportive, and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to help customers and make a difference every day Fast-paced role for someone who enjoys staying busy and working hard Family business with a customer first attitude Progressive thinking and room for growth for the right individuals Apply Today If this sounds like it was made for you, we'd love to hear from you!
