We are a small, family-owned business looking for someone who is good with tools, mechanically inclined, dependable, and pays attention to detail . Previous ski shop experience is a plus, but it is not required . We are happy to train the right person who is willing to learn, takes direction well, and is comfortable working with tools and equipment. What You'll Do This is a hands-on position that combines ski service work with helping customers and our rental department.

Responsibilities will include:

Installing and adjusting ski bindings Performing ski binding release checks Waxing and preparing skis Setting up and adjusting bindings for rental equipment Performing daily ski and boot rental fittings Taking in customer skis and equipment at the service counter Accurately documenting service work and customer requests Keeping the service shop clean, organized, and running efficiently Helping with other ski shop tasks as needed during busy periods Assisting with a limited number of patio furniture deliveries during the fall as we transition from patio to ski season We will provide training on ski-specific service procedures and equipment. We're more interested in finding someone with good mechanical ability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn than someone who already knows every aspect of ski service. What We're Looking For The right person for our team will be: Comfortable and capable working with hand tools Mechanically inclined Detail-oriented and able to follow procedures Willing to learn new skills Dependable and punctual Comfortable interacting with customers Able to take direction and work as part of a team Positive and willing to pitch in where needed Comfortable working in a small, family-business environment Able to safely lift and move skis, equipment, and patio furniture as needed Schedule & Compensation $18/hour 40 hours per week Full-time position Weekend availability is required No nighttime shifts Sunday hours are 11:00 AM-5:00 PM Full-time employees who work the Sunday shift are paid for a full 8-hour day Health insurance benefits available for full-time employees Opportunity for Year-Round Employment While this position begins primarily as a seasonal ski service role, there is an opportunity to turn it into a full-time, year-round position for the right person. Someone who proves to be dependable, hardworking, and a good fit with our team may transition from the ski service department into our warehouse and delivery operation during the spring and summer months .
