• Northern Goods Team Member
• As a team member, you will play a key role in showing hospitality to our guests, driving sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction. If you have a passion for retail sales, people/hospitality, and the outdoors, we want to hear from you. We are currently open to applicants seeking seasonal work (could range from May-October or shorter).
• Duties:
• Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers
• Provide hospitality to guests staying in the residential suites above the store, maintaining rental units and welcoming new guests.
• Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
• Upsell products and services to maximize sales
• Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Stock shelves and merchandise products as needed
• Maintain rental equipment and gear
• Issue BWCA Permits to guests
• Skills:
• Previous experience in retail sales preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate product details and information
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Proficient in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions accurately
• Cleaning skills
