Henson Distributing is looking for a dependable person to join our front counter and paint department. This position does a little bit of everything. You will help customers at the counter, enter and bill orders, mix and tint paint, answer product questions, and help keep the front of the store running smoothly. Paint experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person. We are looking for someone who is reliable, comfortable helping customers, willing to learn, and able to take responsibility for their work. What you'll do Help customers at the front counter Enter and bill customer orders Mix, tint, and prepare paint Learn our paint products and color-matching system Help customers locate products and answer basic product questions Answer phones and help with customer inquiries Pull or prepare smaller orders as needed Restock and organize the counter and paint areas Help keep the store clean and presentable Work with our sales, warehouse, and office staff to get customers taken care of What we're looking for We're looking for someone who: Shows up on time and can be counted on Is comfortable dealing with customers Pays attention to details Is willing to learn new products and systems Can use a computer for basic order entry and billing Doesn't mind staying busy and helping wherever needed Can safely lift and handle paint cans, boxes, and other supplies Experience with paint or coatings is preferred. Experience in industrial supply, hardware, automotive parts, building materials, customer service, or counter sales is also helpful. Prior paint experience is not required. We are willing to train someone who is dependable and wants to learn.

Pay:

$35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
