Our experienced fitting team works closely with each dancer to ensure the safest, most supportive shoe for their individual foot shape, strength, and training level. Every fitting is thorough and personalized, taking into account alignment, technique, and comfort so dancers can perform with confidence and reduce risk of injury. With extensive training across multiple pointe shoe brands and years of hands-on experience fitting dancers from studios across the region, Bellissimo has built a reputation as one of the most trusted pointe fitting locations in Tennessee . THE ROLE

Bellissimo is growing, and we are excited to expand our pointe fitting team . We are currently looking for 1-2 talented individuals who have a strong passion for ballet, a sharp eye for detail, and a genuine desire to help dancers succeed. At Bellissimo, pointe fitting is more than selling shoes—it is about creating a thoughtful, personalized experience that helps dancers feel confident, supported, and safe en pointe. Our pointe fitters are known for delivering an exceptional level of care and expertise, and we are looking for individuals who take pride in doing the same.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong ballet background (10+ years of training preferred; professional or pre-professional experience a plus) Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills The ability to connect with dancers and understand their individual needs A passion for providing outstanding customer service A willingness to learn pointe shoe construction, brands, and fitting techniques A professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude Growth Opportunities For the right individual, this role offers opportunities for advancement , especially for someone interested in building a long-term career in pointe fitting and dance retail. Required:

Minimum 10+ years ballet training Minimum 4+ years dancing en pointe Minimum age: 18 Ability to work at least 2+ Saturdays per month Excellent verbal communication skills

Professionalism Detail Oriented Problem Solver Preferred:

Pointe fitting experience is not required but defintely a plus!

Note:

Complete training will be provided regardless of experience. Bachelors Degree preferred but not required Professional or pre-professional dance experience Experience teaching ballet or coaching dancers

Hours:

Our pointe fittings are done by appointment only during regular store hours which are: Monday 12pm-6pm Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm Sunday (We are closed to the general public on Sundays but reserve this day for occasional group pointe fittings.)
