You will play a crucial role in preparing products for final finishing while working in a steady, supportive setting where your efforts directly impact product quality.
Responsibilities:
Clean and degrease metal parts so surfaces are completely free of dirt and oils. Sand, grind, and tape off parts so the paint sticks smoothly and evenly. Safely hang, position, and secure items on paint line racks. Check finished prep work for defects to make sure everything meets quality standards. Keep work orders and product drawings with the correct parts as they move through the workspace. Keep basic daily production sheets up to date for your team leader. Follow all safety rules, wear your personal protective equipment, and report hazards right away.
