full-time 2026-2027 Ski & Snowboard season is upon us! Company Description Georg's Ski Shop has been Brian Head's original and most complete ski, snowboard, and bike shop for over 60 years. The shop is known for providing high-quality equipment, comfortable lodging options, and friendly, reliable customer service. Team members work in a welcoming, mountain-oriented environment that focuses on helping guests make the most of their outdoor experiences. Role Description The Ski Rental Technician is a full-time (40hrs a week), on-site role based in Brian Head, UT. In this position, the technician will assist customers with selecting and fitting ski and snowboard equipment, including boots, bindings, and accessories, while ensuring safety and comfort. Daily tasks include setting up and adjusting rental gear, performing basic equipment maintenance, and keeping the rental area organized and well-stocked. The role also involves explaining equipment use, answering questions about conditions and gear, processing rentals and returns, and providing courteous, efficient service to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Technicians work closely with other team members to support shop operations and uphold company service standards. This is a seasonal position for winter operations in Brian Head (December-April). Full time employees will get a shop pass to Brian Head resort and access to gear rentals. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with a focus on helpfulness, patience, and problem-solving. Candidates should possess well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with guests and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Candidates should possess basic technical aptitude for adjusting bindings, fitting boots, and performing simple equipment checks safely. Candidates should posses cashier skills and be competent at working on a computer. Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in retail or rentals, knowledge of winter sports safety practices, and the ability to stand, lift, and move equipment throughout the shift.
