Mid Level Salary:
$60,000 - $120,000 per year Job Details - We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Permanent Controls Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is integral in ensuring the smooth operation of our advanced automated systems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of PLC, sensors, drives, 3 phase electrical systems, and will have a proven track record in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, where you will be challenged and rewarded.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Controls Technician, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex control systems, including PLC, sensors, drives, and 3 phase electrical systems. 2. Performing preventative maintenance on all control systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. 3. Assisting in the design and implementation of new control systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our operations. 4. Collaborating with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements to our existing systems. 5. Providing technical support and training to other team members to ensure they understand and can effectively use our control systems. 6. Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in control systems technology and applying this knowledge to your work. 7. Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Controls Technician role, you should have the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the controls & automation maintenance 2. Extensive knowledge of PLC, sensors, drives, and 3 phase electrical systems. 3. Proven experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing control systems. 4. A strong understanding of control system design and implementation. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. 6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members. 7. A degree in engineering or a related field is preferred. 8. The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. 9. A commitment to continuous learning and development.
