Job Description

Summary :
Working in the water well field. Submersible and non-submersible water well pumping systems. Including storage and booster systems.
Responsibilities :
  • Field Service o Install diagnosis and repair of well system controls and electrical systems
  • 3-phase and single-phase ac motors
  • VFD's, soft starters or ATL starters
  • Motor protection devices
  • RTU and SCADA systems
  • Communication systems o Field Wiring
  • Conduits
  • Steel
  • PVC
  • Flexible
  • Grounding
  • Installation including supports and buried
  • Ability to wire to NEC specifications
  • Properly size wire and fuses o Shop panel work, RTU, Controllers and SCADA system o Assist in
PLC, HMI
Programming and modification o Work normal business hours with some emergency call outs o Some travel out of state
  • Support sister regions o Responsive to customer needs especially out of water situations o Minor plumbing o Assist in pump / plumbing installation and service o Complete and submit work records in a timely fashion
  • Shop o Panel work
  • Build and repair RTU, Controllers and SCADA system o Assist
PLC, HMI
programming and other automated controls o Knowledge of Spread Spectrum radio programming (Serial and Ethernet) o Help with design of new installations including wiring and control systems
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver License without restrictions
  • Must maintain good driving record
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to pass a drug screen
  • Working knowledge of power and hand tools
  • Capable of following instructions to perform tasks
  • Working knowledge of equipment and hauling
  • Maintains all company-required equipment certificates
  • Ability & willingness to travel to remote locations, i.e., out of state
  • Ability to learn and adhere to processes
  • Demonstrate ability to perform work in a safe and efficient manner with supervision
  • Knowledge of and use of Volt Meters, Ammeters, Ohmmeters, Meggers, etc.
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Must maintain all company-required Safety Training and Courses
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and troubleshooting skills
  • Willing to travel on short notice as business needs require
  • CMV DOT medical when assigned to operate company vehicles as required
  • Must maintain DOT Physical for CMV operation
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe packages
  • Must be able to read and understand schematics
  • Good mechanical skills
  • Know and understand NEC
  • Self-starter with good organizational skills
  • Associates degree in electronics or related field
  • Possible emergency call outs evening and weekends
  • Experience in the controls industry desired Lift 50 lbs Outdoor work Assigned service vehicle Salary commensurate with experience
Pay:
$24.00 - $43.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 65.0 per week
